A fast-growing brown macroalga with striking blue iridescence under reef lighting. Dictyota produces chemical defenses (diterpenes) that deter most herbivores, allowing it to spread aggressively in nutrient-rich systems.

Notes:
Highly invasive if unmanaged—prune regularly. Best for macro-focused systems, not delicate SPS tanks.
